Configurable SSO Entity ID

If you require Bugsnag to be configured with a custom SSO Entity ID, you can now set this in the Replicated dashboard.

Monitor errors in Cocos2d-x games with Bugsnag

We now support error monitoring for applications built with the open source game development framework Cocos2d-x. Now, you can automatically capture all errors in your Cocos2d-x game and access the data and insights you need to understand application health, prioritize errors, and fix them with speed and precision.

The new Cocos2d-x notifier library supports applications written in C++ running on Android, iOS, and macOS.

Introducing units for captured metadata

Certain automatically captured metadata such as the application’s duration in the foreground and the device’s free memory is now shown in minutes and MB rather than milliseconds and bytes so that you can debug easily without having to convert units.

User experience enhancements further simplify debugging

  • Reproduce and fix bugs with speed and precision by viewing the state of threads in raw format, similar to stack traces

  • We now retain your preferred settings for the stack trace view (full or raw) in the Inbox, and errors seen vs. errors introduced and handled vs. unhandled exception in the Releases dashboard

  • Easily select and copy data from Bugsnag to paste elsewhere and efficiently complete tasks such as copying a user email address to paste into your support client to let them know you’ve resolved a bug

Important Note:

If you are upgrading from a version lower than v3.1909.0 or v4.1909.0 then any NDK SO mapping files will be migrated. The dashboard will still be usable, but it may take some time for new events to be processed after upgrading.
